Cooked rice – 1 bowl
Ajwain/vaamu/carom seeds – 2 tea spoons
Red chillies – 3
few curry leaves
Garlic – 6
salt to taste
Oil – 1 table spoon
How to make Vamu rice
. Heat oil in a pan and fry garlic in a medium flame.
. To the same oil add vamu/ajwain/carom seeds. When they start spluttering add red chillies and curry leaves.
. Fry for a while, then sprinkle salt and mix well.
. Finally, add cooked rice and mix well.
. Serve hot and enjoy……
