2 cup chana
2 tomatoes, diced in small pieces
2 onions, diced in small pieces
1 small cucumber, diced in small pieces
1 potato, boiled,peeled and diced into pieces
2-3 green chilies,
3 tablespoon coriander leaves, finely chopped
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder
2-3 tablespoon namkeen/ aloo bhujiya
. Soak the chana for 8 hours. Pressure cook the chickpeas well and keep aside.
. In a Salad Mixing Bowl, add boiled and cooled chana . Make sure that the chana are drained and no additional water is present. Add chopped onion, tomato and cucumber to it.
. Season the Chana Chaat with chopped green chilies, freshly chopped coriander leaves, chaat masala, dry mango power and lemon juice. Add salt to taste.
. Finally toss all the ingredients well. Adjust the salt and chaat masala. You can make it spicier by adding more chopped green chilies.
. Add Namkeen or Aloo bhujiya on top. Delicious Chana Chaat is ready to serve.
