Tomatoes 7 to 8 – chopped
Onions chopped finely 1 cup
Green chilies 3 to 4 slit lengthwise
Curry leaves few
Tamarind pulp according taste
Salt for taste
Turmeric 2 pinches
Red chili powder 1 table spoon
Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin Seed 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander leaves few
Sugar 1 table spoon

How to make tomato pulusu

. Now heat a pan add cumin seeds, mustard seeds when sputters add the chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves and fry.
. When onions turn light brown color , add chopped tomato and fry it for 10 minutes.
. Add in tumeric, red chili powder, salt and fry it.
. Add tamarind pulp and simmer the flame and let boil for 10 minutes.
. Finally, add sugar and mix well.
. Switch off the stove , garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
