3 cups Chukkakura – chopped
1 cup chana dal- boiled
1 onion – medium size, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp tumeric
1 tsp red chili powder
to taste Salt

How to make chukkakura chana dal curry

. Heat 2tsp oil in a pan, add jeera , once the seeds start to splutter add the onion, green chilies and tumeric.
. Cook until it starts smelling fragrant and turns golden.
. Next add the chopped greens, boiled chana dal and mix well.
. Add red chilli powder and salt.
. Simmer for 6~8 minutes for the flavors to mingle.
. If the curry looks too thick, add some water.
. Serve with rice or roti.
