I am Tulasi, from Vishakhapatnam aka Vizag, the beautiful coastal city of Andhra Pradesh (South India) with beaches and breathtaking landscapes. I live in India with my husband .I have worked as a software engineer before starting tulasiskitchen.
I am a food enthusiast and love cooking. I started learning cooking from my childhood and still learning. I love to experiment in the kitchen. It gives me much joy in making a great meal for my family to enjoy.
The main aim of starting this blog is to inspire others to cook and attempt to keep all my recipes in one place and share with others.
My specialties are Indian food and my blog focuses on simple and easy to cook recipes.
Most of the recipes found here are learn’t from my mother,mother-in-law,bhabhi ,friends, TV shows, due to my interest in cooking.
I am glad that this site serves as a gateway to share many wonderful recipes learn’t from many wonderful people in my life .
I have no formal training in food photography. Taking images of food is a learning process, a creative outlet for me and an enjoyable one at that.
